No one is meant to get through this life alone, although sometimes it might feel this way.  If you have been struggling lately with situations, events, or mental health symptoms, you are in the right place.  You’ve taken the first step in looking for a counselor, and many times that can be the hardest step.

My passion is supporting my clients through person-centered, cognitive behavioral therapies and empowering my clients with the necessary tools they need to succeed.  I incorporate client interests, such as reading, music, sports, art, and writing, into our sessions to best support clients as they are working through the therapeutic process.

I have worked with children, adolescents, teenagers, and adults with a variety of mental health concerns such as anxiety, mood disorders, trauma, PTSD, history of abuse, domestic violence, and personality disorders.

I have extensive experience working with clients struggling with depression, self-harm, and suicidal ideation.  I especially have passion working with children and adults involved in the child welfare system.  I build a strong rapport with my clients and provide a safe environment for self-exploration, processing, and healing.

When I’m not working, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, playing softball, hiking, writing, and reading.  I love spending my time outdoors in nature.  I take pride in having a good sense of humor and have seen how humor can have many benefits in life.

Authenticity is a collection of choices that we have to make every day. It’s about the choice to show up and be real. The choice to be honest. The choice to let our true selves be seen.
